EPA Seeks OK For Alcatel, Pfizer Cleanup Cost Deal

Law360, New York (September 08, 2009) -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, which in June sued Alcatel-Lucent USA Inc., Pfizer Inc. and Olin Corp. to recoup $670,000 in cleanup costs for a Superfund site the agency has already collected over $12 million to rehabilitate, has asked a federal judge to approve a consent decree that would resolve the issue.
