Mich. Blue Cross Found Liable In Funds' Fees Suit

Law360, New York (September 08, 2009) -- A federal judge has in one fell swoop certified a class of self-insurance funds and granted the class partial summary judgment, ruling that defendant Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan breached its fiduciary duty under federal benefits law and is liable for charging fees that don't apply to the funds.
