WaMu Seeks OK To Sell Goldman $15M Wind Portfolio

Law360, New York (September 08, 2009) -- Washington Mutual Inc. subsidiary WMI Investment Corp. has asked the bankruptcy court overseeing its Chapter 11 filing to approve a letter of intent allowing it to sell its investments in several wind energy companies to Goldman Sachs & Co. Inc. for at least $15 million.

The deal would reimburse Goldman for up to $300,000 in professional fees and expenses and would grant Goldman exclusive negotiating rights for the portfolio, provided that Goldman's eventual offer is...
