Pennzoil Loses Indemnity Spat Over Pollution Events

Law360, New York (September 09, 2009) -- Pennzoil-Quaker State Co. is not entitled to recover defense costs from American International Specialty Lines Insurance Co. for several lawsuits arising from pollution at a Louisiana refinery because it improperly treated several unrelated occurrences as one event, a federal judge has ruled.
