Law360, New York (September 14, 2009) -- Three affiliates of Sprint Nextel Corp. are asking an Illinois court to hold off approval of the wireless giant's proposed $483 million tie-up with wireless reseller Virgin Mobile USA Inc. until Sprint can prove the merger won't break Sprint's affiliate contracts by pitting its partners against Virgin in exclusive service areas.
