Motorola Dropped From Premier Playlist Patent Suit

Law360, New York (September 15, 2009) -- Patent-holding company Premier International Associates LLC has agreed to drop Motorola Inc. from a suit accusing the cell phone giant and two dozen other technology companies of infringing two patents covering digital music-management technology.

Judge David Folsom of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas on Monday approved the companies' stipulation to dismiss the suit with prejudice....
