BU Must Hand Over Docs In Paxil Birth Defect Case

Law360, New York (September 15, 2009) -- A judge overseeing a lawsuit brought by the parents of a child who died from birth defects allegedly caused by GlaxoSmithKline PLC’s drug Paxil has ordered researchers at Boston University to turn over evidence involving their communications with the pharmaceutical company for a major study examining the effects of the drug on pregnant women.
