Online Retailers Sued Over Web Search Patent

Law360, New York (September 23, 2009) -- Software developer SpeedTrack Inc. has launched a lawsuit accusing nearly two dozen major online retailers, including Amazon.com Inc., Best Buy Co. and Overstock.com Inc., of infringing a patent that covers a search mechanism customers can use to locate products on the retailers' Web sites.
