Law360, New York (September 24, 2009) -- The judge overseeing the Chapter 11 proceedings of Old Carco LLC — formerly known as Chrysler LLC — approved a $24 million settlement deal involving Old Carco, Safeco Insurance Co. of America and plaintiffs who won a $55 million verdict in a case over a death they said was caused by a defective Dodge truck.
