Aflac Ducks Policy Judgment For Widow In 5th Circ.

Law360, New York (September 29, 2009) -- A Louisiana oil services worker who perished in flames when his helicopter crashed on a trip to an offshore platform was aboard what amounted to a taxi, a federal appeals court has ruled, reversing a lower court's award of $110,000 to the worker's family from American Family Life Assurance Co. of Columbus.
