Law360, New York (October 02, 2009) -- The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission announced Friday that even the smallest publicly reporting companies will have to begin complying with Section 404 provisions of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act within nine months.
All public companies will be subject to the 404 internal control rules for their first annual reports for fiscal years ending on or after June 15, 2010, the agency said....
