High Court Nixes Lawyer's Appeal Against State Farm

Law360, New York (October 06, 2009) -- The U.S. Supreme Court has declined to hear an appeal of a $4.2 million verdict handed down against a lawyer and a former State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Co. claims representative who were accused of colluding to bilk the insurance company of millions of dollars by making “excessive payments” to the lawyer and his clients.
