Trial Court Must Rule On Relief In Insurance Spat

Law360, New York (October 12, 2009) -- A California appeals court has vacated and remanded a lower court's decision to stay declaratory relief for Great American Insurance Co. in a liability insurance dispute with its policyholder Angeles Chemical Co. Inc. over chemical cleanup costs, saying Angeles had not proven that a decision on relief would overlap with a decision on the underlying suit between the two parties.
