American Signature Appeals Denial Of DOC Injunction

Law360, New York (October 14, 2009) -- American Signature Inc. is appealing the denial of its bid for a temporary injunction that would block the U.S. Department of Commerce from reassessing duties against it associated with the import of wooden bedroom furniture from China.

American Signature had sought the injunctive relief in the U.S. Court of International Trade, but Judge Leo M. Gordon ruled Tuesday the importer could not demonstrate irreparable harm....
