Digital Libraries Top Priority For EU IP Talks

Law360, New York (October 19, 2009) -- The European Commission announced plans Monday to launch a series of talks to focus on problems under current European copyright law stemming from the digital preservation and dissemination of books and so-called orphan works, citing the controversy over Google Inc.'s proposed settlement with authors and publishers.
