Pa. High Court Expands 'Two-Disease' Rule

Law360, New York (October 22, 2009) -- In a split decision, Pennsylvania's high court has ruled that two individuals who sued over asbestos-related increased risk of cancer claims and settled with several companies in 1993 can go forward with lawsuits against a new defendant for claims arising out of the actual cancer diagnosis.
