Conn. Yanks Lead-Ridden ‘Punky Witch’ Costumes

Law360, New York (October 23, 2009) -- Some children in Connecticut who were planning on donning witch attire this Halloween will have to restyle their costumes, after the state’s consumer protection watchdog recalled Walgreen Co.’s “Punky Witch” costumes on Friday for violating federal lead standards.
