Law360, New York (October 26, 2009) -- Roche Palo Alto LLC has decided to appeal a ruling that while its patent for Valcyte is valid, a generic version of the anti-viral drug made by Ranbaxy Laboratories Ltd. does not infringe it.
The drugmaker lodged a notice of its appeal of the Sept. 30 ruling from Judge Freda Wolfson of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey on Friday....
