Law360, New York (October 26, 2009) -- A bankruptcy judge has signed off on a $100,000 settlement between KB Toys Inc. and the state of California over the Golden State's lawsuit accusing the retailer of polluting drinking water with lead toy blocks and other products that were recalled in 2007.
Judge Kevin J. Carey's order, issued Friday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, was required for the settlement to take effect....
