Aloft Drops Infor From Software Patent Suit

Law360, New York (October 27, 2009) -- Patent-holding company Aloft Media LLC has dropped Infor Global Solutions (Michigan) Inc. from its suit accusing Microsoft Corp., Oracle Corp. and others of infringing three patents related to collaborative decision protocol software.

Judge Leonard Davis of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas on Monday dismissed Aloft's claims with prejudice and Infor's counterclaims without prejudice....
