Computer Fraud Claims In Trade Secrets Case Upheld

Law360, New York (October 28, 2009) -- A district judge has ruled that even if employees are authorized to access their employer's computer records, that access can become “unauthorized” under federal computer security laws if they use the information for their own interests, allowing Lasco Foods Inc. to go ahead with a trade secrets suit against two former employees.
