GE Remains On Hook In $9M Superfund Suit

Law360, New York (October 29, 2009) -- A federal judge has refused to reverse an earlier decision that General Electric Co. arranged for waste disposal in New Hampshire in light of a recent U.S. Supreme Court decision on arranger liability, which GE had argued should absolve it of liability in the U.S. government's $9 million cleanup of the disposal site.
