Wal-Mart Insurance Spat Stayed To Sort Out Coverage

Law360, New York (October 30, 2009) -- A judge has agreed to stay a dispute between United Fire & Casualty Co. and Wal-Mart Stores Inc. over defense coverage obligations for injury claims from a construction worker who fell off the roof of an Illinois supercenter, allowing the parties to determine whether the litigation implicates another insurer.
