Law360, New York (October 30, 2009) -- Sanofi-Aventis is seeking to protect its flagship cancer treatment drug Taxotere in a lawsuit against generics maker Sandoz Inc., alleging Sandoz's abbreviated new drug application with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration violates Sanofi's patents.
Sanofi filed its complaint Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware, saying Sandoz wants to make its generic version of Taxotere before Sanofi's three patents expire....
