Waitresses Sue Hooters Over Tips In FLSA Dispute

Law360, New York (November 02, 2009) -- Two Hooters of America Inc. waitresses have slapped several Long Island branches of the restaurant with a putative class action alleging the management misappropriated their tips and failed to reimburse them for their uniforms, in violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act and New York labor laws.
