Law360, New York (November 02, 2009) -- A group of consumers has asked a federal judge to certify three classes — each of which would purportedly consist of at least 10,000 people — in a lawsuit accusing Wal-Mart Stores Inc., Zoller Laboratories LLC and others of making fraudulent claims about weight loss products Zantrex-3 and Akavar 20/50.
The plaintiffs filed their class certification bid in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California on Friday....
