NFL Asks Congress To Sack Minn. Labor Laws

Law360, New York (November 03, 2009) -- Frustrated by Minnesota court injunctions that have barred the National Football League from suspending two players for taking a banned diuretic because the league's anti-steroid policy may not comply with state law, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell pressed U.S. legislators to amend the Labor Management Relations Act to exempt collectively bargained employment policies from local statutes.
