Law360, New York (November 12, 2009) -- United Technologies Corp. said Thursday it had snapped up General Electric Co.’s fire detection and electronic security unit for $1.82 billion.
The Bradenton, Fla.-based unit, GE Security, is part of GE Technology Infrastructure and will add to UTC’s fire and securities businesses in North America, UTC said....
