GM Hit With Class Action Over Saturn Transmissions

Law360, New York (October 11, 2007) -- Owners of Saturn's Vue and Ion vehicles have filed a putative class action lawsuit against General Motors Corp. alleging that the “Vti” transmission GM introduced in 2002 came with an inherent design flaw that made it prone to breaking down prematurely, rendering the vehicles “virtually worthless.”
