Texas Settles Pollutants Lawsuit For $6.5M

Law360, New York (August 26, 2008) -- LyondellBasell Industries has agreed to pay $6.5 million to settle allegations that two of its subsidiaries repeatedly failed to prevent the release of harmful pollutants into the atmosphere at seven petrochemical plants in Houston and along the Gulf Coast.
