General Tobacco Fires Up $1B Antitrust Suit

Law360, New York (October 29, 2008) -- Fuming over a 1998 master settlement agreement that it claims is anti-competitive, a North Carolina-based tobacco firm has ignited a billion-dollar suit against 52 attorneys general and 19 tobacco manufacturers that took part in the deal.
