Powers To Pay $16M To Settle Big Dig Cave-In Suits

Law360, New York (December 18, 2008) -- Powers Fasteners Inc. no longer faces criminal manslaughter charges over the fatal 2006 ceiling collapse in Boston’s Big Dig tunnel after agreeing to settle prosecutors’ civil claims for $16 million, the Massachusetts attorney general announced Wednesday.
