Lloyd's, Others Fight Back In Spat Over Defense Costs

Law360, New York (February 09, 2009) -- Liability insurers of now-dissolved Jacksonville Shipyards Inc., including Lloyd's of London and Travelers Casualty and Surety Co., have asked a federal judge to rule that they are not liable for certain costs from silica and asbestos litigation related to one of the shipyard company’s subsidiaries, which was paid by excess insurers Stonewall Insurance Co. and Seaton Insurance Co.
