Law360, New York (March 11, 2009) -- Italy's antitrust watchdog has launched a probe into a Saint-Gobain SA unit in the country after a complaint from a would-be competitor accused the plasterboard manufacturer of blocking entry into the market for the construction material.
Saint-Gobain PPC Italia SpA learned of the investigation during inspections carried out by Italy's Authority for Competition and Market and a special unit of its financial police on Tuesday....
