Tomato Products Antitrust Suits Consolidated

Law360, New York (March 13, 2009) -- A federal judge has consolidated four putative class action suits over alleged anti-competitive conduct in the processed tomato market for pretrial purposes but deferred a decision on complete consolidation until more information is available, and held that a fifth case was distinct enough to make consolidation inappropriate.
