San Juan Mayor Abetted Public Phone Monopoly: Suit

Law360, New York (March 16, 2009) -- A Puerto Rican phone company has filed an antitrust suit against the city of San Juan, its mayor and a rival phone company, alleging that the mayor approved the rival’s bid for control of San Juan's public telephones because of close political connections with its operators.
