Coal Co. Must Face Trade Secret Theft Claims

Law360, New York (April 01, 2009) -- A federal judge has refused to throw out Crown Coal & Coke Co.'s lawsuit against Compass Point Resources LLC, ruling that the rival coal and coke seller created by two former Crown Coal executives must face claims that the employees stole confidential information about the company's business relationships before leaving.
