Law360, New York (October 04, 2006, 12:00 AM ET) -- California Attorney General Bill Lockyer has indicted former Hewlett-Packard chairwoman Patricia C. Dunn and four other people for their role in the “pretexting” scandal that has rocked the Silicon Valley giant.
The five face felony charges of using of false or fraudulent pretenses to obtain confidential information from a public utility; unauthorized access to computer data; identity theft; and conspiracy to commit each of those crimes, Lockyer’s office said.
