FINRA Taps Baker Botts Partner As Enforcement Chief

Law360, New York (October 22, 2010, 5:02 PM ET) -- The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority on Friday named J. Bradley Bennett, co-chair of the white collar and corporate investigations group at Baker Botts LLP, as the new head of its enforcement division.

Bennett, a partner at Baker Botts’ Washington office, will start at FINRA as chief of enforcement on Jan. 1, the agency said.

In his new role, Bennett will oversee the non-governmental securities regulator's approximately 300 enforcement staff in 17 offices across the U.S.
