Law360, New York (March 15, 2011, 6:29 PM ET) -- Hedge fund advisory firm Juno Mother Earth Asset Management LLC and its two founders were sued by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission Tuesday in New York for allegedly looting $1.8 million from clients.
Juno founders Eugenio Verzili and Arturo Rodriguez transferred money from clients to Juno's accounts and used it to pay for payroll, rent, travel and other expenses, the SEC said in a complaint filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
