CFTC Hits Coventry Asset Managers With Forex Fraud Claims

Law360, New York (May 25, 2012, 4:24 PM ET) -- The U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission is taking civil enforcement action in Washington federal court against Coventry Asset Managers LLC for fraud in foreign currency exchange trading, the CFTC announced Friday.

The CFTC claims Coventry and its owner Marina Buehler-Miko fraudulently solicited members of the public to trade off-exchange foreign currency contracts on a leveraged or margined basis through a pooled investment vehicle, the Coventry Eire Forex Fund.
