Law360, New York (May 29, 2012, 4:27 PM ET) -- Bingham McCutchen LLP gave a boost to its technology, emerging business and life sciences practices by hiring away a corporate and securities partner from DLA Piper to join its Boston office, the firm announced Tuesday.
Michael K. Barron, who has advised companies, entrepreneurs and investors on formation and governance and has closed close to $1 billion in venture financings, said Bingham's commitment to expanding its work with emerging companies was a major reason he decided to join the firm.
