Executives Named In Broadcom Backdating: Report

Law360, New York (January 25, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- Federal prosecutors on Thursday reportedly named two co-founders of communications giant Broadcom Corp., Henry T. Nicholas III and Henry Samueli, as potential co-conspirators in an options backdating scheme.

Though the two have not been indicted, they are referred to anonymously in a plea deal with a different Broadcom officer, Nancy Tullos, as Executive A and Executive B, the Associated Press reported.

A Broadcom spokesperson could not be reached for comment on Friday.
