Law360, New York (May 26, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- The U.S. Supreme Court has rebuffed DaimlerChrysler Corp.’s request to review a state Supreme Court decision upholding an award of $13 million in punitive damages to the parents of an 8-month-old boy who died in a 2001 car crash.
The high court on Tuesday denied Chrysler’s petition for certiorari seeking to overturn the Tennessee Supreme Court’s July ruling that affirmed the award in the wrongful death suit.
