B&D Off Hook In Wal-Mart Indemnity Suit Over Grinder

Law360, New York (August 19, 2009, 2:41 PM ET) -- A spat between Wal-Mart Stores Inc. and Black & Decker (U.S.) Inc. over liability in a case brought by a man injured by a grinder has ended with a win for Black & Decker, with a judge ruling that the hardware company's vendor contract does not require it to indemnify Wal-Mart in the case.
