ConAgra Looks To Sever Suit From Peanut Butter MDL

Law360, New York (November 11, 2009, 6:23 PM ET) -- ConAgra Foods Inc. has asked a federal judge to toss a punitive damage claim and sever a suit recently added to multidistrict litigation accusing the food giant of negligence and strict liability in its sale of salmonella-contaminated peanut butter.
