Law360, New York (December 09, 2009, 6:22 PM ET) -- Two Republicans in the Florida Legislature have introduced a bill that would deregulate all residential property insurance rates, expanding on a measure that was passed by wide margins earlier this year but was vetoed by Gov. Charlie Crist.
State Sen. Michael Bennett and Rep. Bill Proctor announced the proposed legislation, called the Consumer Choice Bill, at a Tallahassee news conference Tuesday, according to the Florida Times-Union.
