Sapp Dons Legal Helmet To Recover Rothstein Funds

Law360, New York (May 20, 2010, 3:14 PM ET) -- Retired NFL superstar defensive tackle Warren Sapp, who won a Super Bowl with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2002, has strapped on his litigation pads to try to reclaim more than $102,000 he invested with now-disgraced South Florida lawyer Scott W. Rothstein.

Rothstein, who admitted in his U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida trial to running a huge Ponzi scheme, is seeing dozens of well-heeled petitioners lodging court papers seeking the return of their money.
