Teva, Teenage Girl Settle Acne Drug Blindness Suit

Law360, New York (May 27, 2010, 12:58 PM ET) -- Teva Pharmaceuticals USA Inc. has agreed to settle a product liability suit filed by a teenage girl who alleged the drugmaker's acne medication made her legally blind.

Senior Judge Hugh Lawson ordered the case dismissed Wednesday after receiving word from Teva and the girl's attorneys that they had resolved the claims in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Georgia.
