NOV Unit Hydralift Seeks Exit From $10M BP Rig Suit

Law360, New York (October 06, 2010, 4:32 PM ET) -- National Oilwell Varco Inc. subsidiary Hydralift Amclyde Inc. has asked a judge to let it out of a $10 million suit brought by a BP PLC subsidiary over damage to an offshore oil platform in the Gulf of Mexico during Hurricane Ike, saying settlement discussions are under way between the oil giant and the subcontractor.
